Not Picking Up Your Vehicle?
If your vehicle was impounded and you do not want to have it released back in your possession, you must read below and then follow the instructions at the bottom of the paragraph:
Roadside Recovery Specialist reserves the right, as set by Texas State Law, to recover all fees not collected by sale of the vehicle stored our Vehicle Storage Facilities. For example:
CAR1 sold for $300.00. The total fees owed were $1200.00. $900.00 is still owed toward the total fees accumulated while being stored. RRS Towing may file for civil suit to collect the additional fees imposed.
***If you do not desire to pay the required fees for storage and would like to deliver to Roadside Recovery Specialist, Inc. the signed (front and back) Title of your vehicle, they will release the owner of the vehicle from all financial responsibilities of the storage fees.***
If you are picking up a vehicle that was impounded, please follow the instructions below:
In order to redeem your vehicle, please have the following information available at time of release:
- 1. Make, Model and Color of the vehicle you are picking up;
- 2. License Plate and or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN);
- 3.Valid Driver's License and/or Government Issued Photo Identification Card( for example: a passport, military ID card, etc..);
- 4. Proof of Ownership( for example: a valid vehicle registration, title, right of possession affidavit). The last name and address on the title or registration must match your Driver's License or Government Issued ID Card. If it does not, a Right of Possession Affidavit must be filled out and notarized by a Licensed Public of Notary before the vehicle is to be released.
- 5. INSURANCE CARDS ARE ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP! Name must match what is on the Registration of the Vehicle or Title.
- 6. All fees are to be paid by cash or debit card.
- If a "Hold" has been placed on your vehicle by any police agency, you must obtain a release from that agency that has placed the Hold on your vehicle.
